V.  Vision Statement:  We envision people of all faiths working together to learn each other’s needs, while responding to God’s call to help each other.

Nyakishenyi African Mission, Inc.

A Community  Based

Development Project

This is a “people’s project” aimed at holistic development for, and initiated by, the people of Nyakishenyi, a remote and poor community in Uganda. The mission has partner with Nyakishenyi village since 2007, to raise the standard of living for its people.  Our projects have gone far beyond the borders of Nyakishenyi in helping other nearby communities and the needs of other African countries.  Our bylaws are written to help throughout Africa, but our base and growth has been in Nyakishenyi.  Our model could be used to develop other communities throughout Uganda and perhaps other African countries.

 Project Objectives

  1. To create  people to  people relationships.
  2. To give African experience to the people of America
  3. To improve health conditions of the people and especially by providing clean water to the community.
  4. Improve the educational standards for the people.
  5. Improve the economic standards of the people.
  6. Assist people to live quality life e.g. providing shelter to the orphans.
  7. Improve on people’s spiritual life.

The Geographical Location of Nyakishenyi:  It is in Rukungiri district, South Western Uganda.  It is 50 miles away from Kabale, and 7 hours drive from Kampala the capital city of Uganda.  It is 13 Kilometers off Kabale Rukungiri main road.

God has blessed our mission abundantly.  We wish for your continued support and prayers.

Meanwhile, we welcome contributions at any time toward school fees for the children, vocational training  for the youth, our animal project and the improvements of our medical center and Salaries for our staff.

N.A.M. is a 501 (c) (3) tax exempt non-profit organization.
